IndiGo strengthens its Gulf expansion

Maiden flights from Sharjah to Kozhikode will begin effective 20 March; Additional flight from Sharjah to Thiruvananthapuram will commence starting 08 April, 2017

indiSHARJAH- Consolidating its position in the Middle-East market, IndiGo (6E) has announced Sharjah as its 6th international destination. Effective March 20th, IndiGo will operate its new daily non-stop flights between Sharjah – Kozhikode – Sharjah. The airline also plans to operate one daily non-stop flight between Sharjah – Thiruvananthapuram – Sharjah effective 08 April, 2017.

The new flights are designed to cater to business and leisure travellers who are constantly on the lookout for new and affordable flying options.

IndiGo is India’s largest airline with a market share of 39.8% as of January 2017. With its fleet of 129 Airbus A320 family aircraft, the airline operates 883 daily flights connecting 44 destinations.
